International College of Applied Kinesiology

Sheldon Deal D.C

Chairman 1978 to 1983

In 1984 ICAK celebrated 20 years of applied kinesiology, since George Goodheart's original discovery, by putting on the SUPER 20 seminar in Detroit, Michigan, where nearly 400 doctors come together to hear the best presenters ICAK has to offer on applied kinesiology.  There were over 50 doctors from Europe alone in attendance.

In 1985 the annual summer meeting, which had always been held in Detroit, went on the road to Santa Monica.  In 1986 it goes to Saint Louis, 1987 to Washington, D.C., and in 1988 back home to Detroit.

Never in the history of time has so many different physicians come together under one roof to study and develop a health care delivery system known as applied kinesiology whose main object is to improve the quality of life.

We, the members, can be proud to be a part of an organization whose time has come to leave its mark on the world never to be forgotten.

During my tenure I remember most:

-Canada was struggling to become a Chapter.

-The ICAK began defense of its leadership.

-The executive Board began ethics discipline.

-I presented the first research paper printed in color.

-I presented the first presentation that used a video projector in San Francisco.

ICAK endorses the use of its skills by licensed health professionals only.
